According to the Decree No. 197 of September 28, 2017 by the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Intellectual Property Institute" (UKRPATENT) the fee for acceleration is paid after 3 months from the established date of filing of trademark application and the examination itself takes 3 months since the payment of official fee for the acceleration. The accelerated trademark registration now takes 6-7 months (in case of smooth procedure). The revised official fees for this procedure, valid from October 1, 2017, are the following:

a) for word/figurative trademark:

• 5220 UAH for one class (previously 4828,5 UAH);
• 612 UAH per class in excess of one (previously 566,1 UAH);

b) for combined trademark:

• 9396 UAH for one class (previously 8691,3 UAH);
• 960 UAH per class in excess of one (previously 888 UAH).
