The Patent Office of Kazakhstan has been accepting online applications for the entry of information and the changes thereof into the State Register of Rights to Objects protected by copyright since September 24, 2018. This information is provided on the official website of the Patent Office with reference to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 20, 2018 No. 161-VI LRK "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Improving Legislation in the Sphere of Intellectual Property."

According to this law, the introduction of information and their changes into the State Register will be carried out on the paid basis. The costs of these services are as follows:

• for entering information into the State Register of Rights to objects protected by copyright - KZT 6,190 (for individuals), KZT 309.50 (for preferential categories);

for entering changes to the State Register of Rights to objects protected by copyright - KZT 1 407 (for individuals), KZT 70.35 (for preferential categories).

Applications are accepted on the website of the agency in electronic form in Kazakh or Russian language.
