Due to the prevention of the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in the territory of Ukraine, the government of Ukraine has adopted legislative acts, under which the simplified procedures of the state registration and introduction of prioritized medicinal products, medical devices and personal protective equipment were approved.

Also, according to the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 224 dated March 20, 2020 was approved the list of medicinal products, medical devices and personal protective equipment necessary for implementation of measures aimed at prevention of the occurrence and spread, localization and abortion of outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), which are not subjected to the payment of import duty, and also all the procedures related to its import in the customs area of Ukraine are not subjected to the payment of value-added tax.
