Since February 8, 2024, the procedure for accelerated examination of trademark applications has become available in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In order to accelerate the examination of TM application, it is necessary to submit a relevant request while filing the application and to pay an official fee of 770,000.00 tenge.

The time of preliminary examination is reduced from one month to 10 working days from the date of receipt of the application, and full examination is conducted within three months instead of seven months. However, it should be noted that if during the examination an Office Action is issued, the accelerated examination of the application is suspended until the applicant provides the requested information.
