Geneva Act of Hague Agreement entered into force for Belarus

The Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs entered into force for Belarus on July 19, 2021. Belarus became the 66th member of the Geneva Act and the 75th member of the Hague Union.

The accession of Belarus to the Hague Agreement makes obtaining the industrial design patent on its territory more convenient for the applicants. Since this moment, it is possible to apply for a patent on the territory of the Belarus Republic with the national Patent Office, Eurasian Patent Office, or WIPO.
